چکیده
Abstract Salinization of agricultural lands, particularly rice paddies, results in the drastic decline crop yields. Soil salinization impacts plant physiology by inducing salt stress which may leads to osmotic stress, ionic and water-related nutrient imbalance. These imbalances necessitate need for plants produce osmolytes including proline glycine betaine. This study aimed elucidate dynamic changes betaine accumulation modulated inoculation Brevibacterium linens RS16 salt-sensitive moderately salt-tolerant under conditions. showed interaction four major factors genotypes with differing tolerance length exposure level effects inoculation. Salt resulted significant reduction growth parameters genotype (IR29) having a more reduction. Both increased total at 3 days 10 after subjecting 50 mM 150 A increase was observed Inoculation B. improvement both genotypes, accumulation, especially IR29. that are compatible mediated through plants.

In planta selection of plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria for rice (Oryza sativa L.)
In this study, bacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere and inside the roots of canola (Brassica napus L.) plants grown in the field from northern Iran. Firstly, 150 strains (endophytic and rhizospheric isolates) isolated from canola were characterized for plant growth promoting (PGP) traits. Of them, one hundred isolates produced indole3-acetic acid (IAA), whereas 17 isolates solubilized ph...

Study of the morphological genetic diversity of 114 lines, which have been derived from the crosses between Tarom Mahalli and Khazar cultivars, has been performed at seedling stage as completely randomized design at the normal condition and salinity stress of 8 dS.m-1 in a hydroponic system. Significant differences were detected between genotypes for all traits. Mean of comparison demonstrated ...
متن کاملEndophytic colonization of rice (Oryza sativa L.) by the diazotrophic bacterium Burkholderia kururiensis and its ability to enhance plant growth.
Burkholderia kururiensis is a diazotrophic bacterium originally isolated from a polluted aquifer environment and presents a high level of similarity with the rice endophyte "B. brasilensis" species. This work assessed the ability of B. kururiensis to endophytically colonize rice plantlets by monitoring different tissues of root-inoculated plants for the presence of bacterial growth in different...
